THE BACKROOMS β Tips, Tricks & Review
The Backrooms throws you into an endless maze of faded yellow walls and buzzing fluorescent lights, and nothing about it feels right. The place looks empty, but the longer you wander, the more it starts to feel like something is watching. Every hallway looks the same, every turn is just another dead end, and no matter how far you go, it never feels like you're actually getting anywhere. The musty smell of old carpet lingers in the air, and the silence is so heavy that even your own footsteps sound wrong.
Everything in The Backrooms messes with your head. Doors appear where they shouldnβt, rooms shift when youβre not looking, and sometimes you hear things that make you stop in your tracks. Maybe it's just the hum of the lightsβor maybe itβs something else. Youβll notice faint sounds in the distance, things moving just out of sight, and whispers that seem to be coming from the walls themselves. You donβt see anything, but that doesnβt mean youβre alone.
Survival in The Backrooms isnβt about fightingβitβs about staying aware and not losing yourself in the maze. Small details matter. A barely open doorway, a flickering light, or even the feeling that youβve walked this same path before could be a clue... or a trick. The deeper you go, the more warped things become. The lights flicker, the walls stretch, and the spaces between rooms start to feel... wrong. You might think youβre making progress, but the second you let your guard down, youβll realize youβve just walked straight into something you shouldnβt have.
Thereβs no map, no clear way outβjust endless corridors and a creeping sense of dread. Do you follow that faint noise, hoping it leads to an exit? Or is it leading you straight into something much worse? The longer you stay, the harder it gets to tell whatβs real and whatβs not. Just keep moving, and whatever you do, donβt turn around if you hear something breathing right behind you.
